I didnt install or purchase the originals. My girlfriend had them on her civic this winter and it just died (cylinder not creating any compression), I took the car to the wreckors today, gave them the car for $50 (1990 civic hatch) and i kept the rims/tires. so now I am getting rid of the tires/rims for her either on here or in the triad newspaper.

I just took a regular tape measure and stretched it across the rim and it said 14" thats all I can tell ya coming from this non-car buff!

I was going to list them for a bit less but the guy at the wreckors said they would sell em for about 800 so here we are

first off... its impossible to put a 13 inch tire on a 14 inch rim. If you actually were able to put it on, you have ripped the tire while putting the tires on.

Your selling 13's and not 14's.

buy a new engine, drop it in and working again.

and the measurement you made included a lip, most rims have a nice lip that extend, some even up to 2" lip.

but yeah, read the tire like you did. 13" is all.

I guess i should go read the tire before i embarass myself posting my 17 inch 5-star rims w/ low profile tires hahahahaha

I didnt give them $50, they gave me $50

I took it up to the honda dealership it was over a grand just to take everything apart and fix the problem and thats if they didnt run into anything else in the meanwhile.. so screw it, bought a brand new car and got rid of the beater civic
