i can vouch for the fact that i put a good 3k or so of parts into this car, about a year and half ago, just before i sold it to this guy, the engine died to i got a new one swapped in...which now has likely about 100k, i had a new starter, alternator, a bunch of nonsense, done...new windshield

okay here's the follow up, i put about 30k since purchased from Slim K, now it has 2 problem that i know of,

1/ muffler has a hole is mid-pipe? not sure, i fixed one time(air was coming out from side of car as wind direction), now it's not the same case, to me it's fine, but a garage told my friend who wanted the car muffler has to be fixed to e-test....

2/ gas leaks when tank is more than 3/5 full, it's because the joint on the back of the tank has a gap probably due to rust..

other than that, it runs, runs on hwy, runs everywhere

and what i added to the car, picked up a front bumper and front left fender from junk yard, painted fender to white(could only find red..), changed front brake pads, was gonna do discs too but it was too hard for my wrench to loose the bolt.. maybe due to age, anyway they were still good so i had a spare pair, installed new rear wiper.

and that's basicly the exterior, for inside, i put audio stuff, i'm going to take them out if i sell the car, i will put the original stereo Slim K had back which is a not bad CD/MP3 deck.

i just want to get rid of it from my driveway, i'm going to have another tenant move in, my drive way will be too much jamed.. thanks for any interest

interested.... what would it take to get that gas tank fixed thats the only thing thats bugging me... like gas leaking cant be that safe lol... like even if you dont put it past 3/4 it probably still leaks if you go around a corner to fast or something... also please pm me your location and name and number... and also what it would take to fix the gas tank situation...

if u go around the corner really fast in this car in the winter u will have bigger problems lol

hi elistian, what a coincidence, I moved from Scarborough to Ajax this year, we are neighbour here, the car is sitting on the driveway just by the lake Harvood / Lake Driveway, call me for a test drive or anything, for the gas tank, I think it probably needs to be replaced, not sure about the cost, but I would say couple hundred bucks

haha, i would not do that, drive safe with in a beater actually the gas won't leak when you turn fast, it will probably drain to 1/4 if you parking uphill... and almost full tank down hill , see what i mean? it's at the back..

BTW, it's a KOSS 160 WATT CD/MP3 deck, plays CD-R/RW/MP3, AM, only FM has no signal...
