- head gasket blown
- FR tie rod end boot needs repair
- shocks could use some work
- brakes haven't been touched in 4yrs/40000km
- body rust and dings are not hard to find
- power door lock needs repair
- no stereo
- 2 sets of 13" steel rims/tires with good tread

It will probably drive but I can't guarantee that it will make it around the block. Expect white smoke if/when started.

If I can't sell this car in 1 week it's going to be scrapped, so all offers will be considered as long as they cover the $20 UVIP. I will also consider giving it to charity (not necessarily registered, but not YourNameFoundation).

Ok guys, after many PM's I thought I would publicly provide some more info.

First and foremost - PRICE: the overwelming consensus seems to be that the car is worth somewhere in the $300-500 range so I am reducing the price to $500. I will give it away in a heartbeat before I accept $100. I will consider giving it away before taking $300, but hey let's be honest that's alot of beer money.

Second - SEEING IT: the car can be seen for yourself in front of the Canadian Tire service bay at Laird/Eglinton. Also, contrary to what I've told a couple of you I am no longer leaving town this weekend and will be available to meet. A test drive is out of the question due to obvious issues, and I don't even know if the car still starts. It did start and drive on the shoulder of the hwy before I had it towed, if that means anything to you (ie. engine is not seized). Call me anytime (7am-11pm) at 416-819-6708 to arrange a meet starting friday evening.

Thirdly - PARTING OUT: not an option for me, but if you want to buy it and make a profit doing so then I'll be happy for you.

Other items of interest that you asked about or I thought of:
- new distributor assembly
- new fuel filter
- new plugs/wires
- hitch (bike rack not included)
- timingbelt/waterpump/rad/thermo changed in '00 at 135k
- gas hatch does not pop, must be jigged open
- no window cracks or chips that will become cracks
- a/c works fine
- tranny rebuilt in '98 by previous owner, no problems for me
- no liens or other issues that I'm aware of that could affect transfer
- drive clean done in july04 so still valid
- snows are ArticAlpins, tread is enough for the CT service manager to ask me if he can swap them with his if I scrap it - if I had to guess 5/32"
- all seasons are under my deck and I really don't remember what they are, but 2 of them were new as of last spring
- last safety passed in '01 when I considered selling the car, I have owned it since '98 @ 78k km, purchased from a friend
- interior clean
- dings in hood from I think an overpressured car wash
- in addition to no stereo no front speakers from break-in
- dent under drivers handle from break-in
- drivers window seal broken from break-in
- all windows save passenger are tinted
- front left bumper sags due to probable encounter with parking garage column, but is not dented
- no other body issues, just rust in the usual places with the worst being passenger side front fender
