1989 Chevrolet Suburban 2wd 5.7L overdrive, a/c, remote start.

Since picking up my EF I no longer need this truck. Its a decent truck... no real options. Rubber floor, manual windows, but its got air (sorta works, converted to 134a, but needs a line $65 at the dealer). I hate winter so it has a remote start. Cruise and tilt.
The truck has 131,000km on it. Injected 350 with 700r4 overdrive trans. Fresh tune up, cap rotor wires plugs, fuel filter, and serpentine belt. Dynomax 3in cat back single exhaust. Perfectly reliable and passed its last e test with flying colors.
Its got some rust, nothing irrepairable, passenger side rockers were done last fall. Drivers side rear is getting tough. The hood has a couple bubbles starting. All the doors and glass are perfect. The tailgate is rusty but repairable. Its tack welded shut, the hinge support piece behind the rear bumper is shot, but I have the new piece (big $'s from GM) Never found the time to get it done.
Its a good solid reliable truck with lots of life left in it. Hell, the powertrain is worth the asking price.
Looking for $1500 obo, or trade for honda stuff. Let me know what you've got. Anything to spruce up my bone stock '91 dx would be welcome.
The truck is currently unplated, but I have access to a dealer plate and the truck is driveable anywhere.

Not e-tested..... but should pass without issue.
As far as certification.... I haven't had the drums off in a while, but last time I checked the rear brakes were fine. Parking brake works fine. Front pads were done 16k ago. Exhaust is fine.
I think even the body will go through a saftey.. the drivers side rear rocker is a tough, but not enough that the interior is open to the atmosphere. The tailgate doesn't open, but that shouldn't matter. The floors are perfect. Only other issue I can think of is the front pasenger seatbelt has a tear where it got caught in the door once apon a time. I put an upper ball joint and an upper control arm on it last winter when a cab ran me off the road. The rest of the front end is still decent. It doesn't wander or pull, or crash and bang over bumps.
I'll be taking pics tomorow for those interested.
