Nova Dust ... this is pro solo (what we've been discussing)
pro solo requires you have 3 sactioned solo 2 events under your belt and a M2000 (or M95) helmet (or even better get a SA 2000 helmet) and that your car can safely drive on the road
solo 2 is like prosolo except no drag tree and only 1 course and your not on the track with another car... again M2000 helmet is required (between 150 and 1500 for a helmet my helmet cost 259 and pics can be found on this board)
solo 1 an SA2000 helmet is required a m2000 helmet won't cut it. solo1 is on a track course while solo 2 is in parking lots and follows a pylon course. I hope that helps
if you need anymore info look for me at a meet..

I was at the meet for a few minutes only
as for a course ...not that I'm aware of ...although they do offer courses ..and drifting is not as important as getting around the course quickly in most cases you stick out that rear end you wipe out a pylon ... even miatas don't drift

Drifting slows you down. What you want to do is get through the turns as fast and as smoothly as possible.
You should come out to a Solo II event. There are few requirements other than a car in good working condition and a helmet (though loaners are available).

I was reading Solo II and I think I sorta understand the jist of it. I think I might come out to the June 15th event, it is in Brampton and easy to get to.
So do you have to pay in advance or you can just go and show up and pay then? And you just tell then what kinda mod you have under the hood and they will classify your car?

answers:
1) pay then it's easier
2) yes you tell them everything and they classify your car since the 15th is the HADA one I'll be there also since it's a regional event there will be a possibility that they tech your car which means giving it a really close look at.
