info needed
I know that most of you know this stuff already, but I don't know much about the show circuit and would like some info on what the different classes are, what things do they look for in each class ect. ect. I might want to try the show thing next year. who knows. For now my car is a little better then stock(not much),but I think it's pretty "clean" so it has potential...........Here is a list of the pros.. 99 sedan with zero rust bumper to bumber top to bottem...tint...special order honda rims 7 spokes....what I call stealth stereo(all hidden with sub)(I still have a trunk LOL)...and lots of waxx ..... remote activated hidden green neons( can't be seen at all)...I told you it wasn't much but it's a start........so any info you can post would be great........P.S. I like the "one for all and all for one " mentality you guys have got going on, thats may idea of a club

Alot of the shows during the year will have classes that incorporate alot of different cars, ie. best honda or best civic. The cscs show on the weekend has expanded there classes because of participation so there is best sedan, best coupe and best hatch.
Darknights on the other hand has a mild, wild and heads-up class for the show. The mild class includes any car that doesnt have major shaving, conversions or an engine from another manufacturer. Wild class usually includes all vendors cars and the cars that have headlight conversions, crazy body mods, toyota motor in a civic etc. The heads-up class is for the cars that dont have enough of the same model in the show to make it worth it to have a mild and wild class.
For advice, if you really really wanna win you would probably have to fiberglass your whole trunk. Put either a full bodykit or lip kit with custom paint. Turbocharging your engine brings big points at shows aswell.

those are pretty big shows. I'll save those for way in the future. is there a class in some of the smaller shows for a car like mine..I just saw the thing about the one in oshawa on the 24th is anyone going to that?

Well the smaller shows have limited classes which means if someone shows up with a civic that has lambo doors, custom paint etc then for sure there gonna win.
As far as the show at konfusion, i may go if some other people are going. I know the guys who are running it and it will probably be a small show.

do many people bring there cars just to help with the "best team" part......and unfortunatly my car has to remain a fucntional daily driver ....it is also very heavily under coated does this create a big problem?

Shows like darknights, CSCS and some of the not really small shows are fun to be at which is why people come to them. The konfusion show is going to be in the back of there parking lot at there club and most likely will just be the cars parked in the lot and locals coming to see it.
My advice, build your car up at your own pace the way you want to and if you win something at a show then more power to ya. IF you really wanna win big shows you have to put alot of money, time and thought into putting the car together.

np man, your car is clean how it is so just keep moving it along slowly and dont worry so much about shows but your own satisfaction.
ive put a big chunk of money into my car but i dont win shows and although it would be nice its not a huge deal to me because im happy everyday when i wake up and walk outside to a car i personalized for myself.
