"Operation Impact"

I was just listening to the radio and heard that OPP will be out in force. It's the long weekend. They're always doing blitzes. Apparently they are going to be using choppers to nail speeders and crazy drivers.

So just a small note for the cruise down that we need to be carefull in our conduct on the road. Lets not forget we're a respectable car club and lets show it on the roads.

Here's a question.....if somebody gets pulled over.....do we all stop? I think we should........but then again my car's 100% leagal.
Thoughts?

I don't plan on getting stopped, but you never know.

no keep going... lol... pull off further ahead... that could make things worse for the person who got pulled over.. and could potentially be bad for people who might have some things on their cars that the cops dont like.

If it's the cruise up there we should stop since he/she is a part of TCC and they probably don't know where they are going.

Well if the majority of us have FRS's then we can alert one another of police, pulling off ahead a good ways up is not a bad idea. We shouldnt have a problem on the way up, just keep it at the speed and no weaving, we need to be respectful to those driving around us as we are representing TCC. The way back last time there were some people from here who were doing way over the speed limit- who could potentially ruin it for others. If someone does get pulled over, no one should get out of their car when we pull up ahead.

I agree with pulling over down the road. Also, if you happen to get pulled over, I'd suggest turning your FRS off untill you leave and radio when you're leaving the scene.
Also it is a good idea to NOT exit your car on the side of the highway. Stay put, and if you want to talk to somebody radio them.
