If you want really loud from eD, you should go with the ov.2's. I believe the 12's do 950watts rms.

the 2 swiss audio subs that i was looking at or the eD subs??

and what eD subs are the best setup that will be able to compare to the swiss spl subs...??

and i have access to the table saws and routers down here but i know that doesnt help you much
from what ive read and heard from other places Swiss audio makes awesome amplifiers. I personally havent heard much about there speakers so i cant really comment on them. Having used the eD stuff before I would go with that if its withing ur budget. IF your looking for SPL check out the 12AV2 subs, im almost 100% sure a pair of those in the right enclosure will be louder than just about any other 12's on the market unless your paying alot more money. I dunno if this was posted but the website is www.edesignaudio.com.

Do you have your own tablesaw and router or a buddy of yours?

Hopefully over the winter i can get my trim pieces made up and wrap em in vinyl and be done with the backend of my car.

Those swiss ones might be better, im not sure cuz i never heard of them. The reason why im suggesting eD is because they are a really good quality, good sounding product. And they are a really good company to deal with. Plus you can take advantage of the pre-order pricing and save yourself a lot of coin. They are also specifically designed to work in small enclosures which is a bonus when you're talking about a civic. For example, one 13ov.2, which is a 12" sub, msrp is $275usd. Pre-order pricing right now is $195 usd (even though I'm pretty sure they are already shipping so you won't have to wait months like a real pre-order).

13ov.2 enclosures:

13Ov.2 sealed : 0.6 - 1.1 vented: 1.2 - 1.5

1.2-1.5cu ft vented for a sub like that is peanuts.

Here's an excursion video of the 13kv.2 which handled 1/2 the wattage of the ov.2:

Take a look:

The O's are amazing subs but if you want the best look at the Av2's.

For anyone looking for ideas of subs check out this picture of subs i can have built anytime for pretty much less than cost for any store.

BTW please do not show these pictures to anyone outside of the club.

I believe the eD amps are made by another company but they are still a high quality product. I would think 2 nine.1's would be good but id have to look at specs and stuff.

Prices vary depending on the subs. I believe the 10's were like $300US each or something but there is probably nothing on the market that could compete with those. I paid $500US shipped for my pair of 15's.

Well all you need to do is decide on an amp, like that swiss audio amp you were planning on using. Then i can get them built to handle the power etc. MY sub amp can pump out close to 3000wrms although i would be deaf if i tried that prolly. My pair of 15's running sealed loves the power im throwing at em.

Ask Luka, he stood outside my car when i had my system running:P

Brad, the nine.1 with 2 ov2's would push around 500watts rms to each sub. And as for Chris' system, that **** is ****in stupid loud, I don't know how you can sit in that car with that **** on,.

He'd have to get those used, and the ov.2's are similar enough to make it worth buying them new instead.
