I think for a DD, a swap is better.......pretty much OEM reliability, but more power.....

Ya Swapping has much more potential than turboing a D motor. Because down the road you can jsut add boost to a B and your that much better off.

dont go turbo, your engine will be fu3ked in no time. N/A is always the way to go, s/C is more reliable but still :S... more value and like... self pride doing an engine up.. anyone can stick on a turbo or s/c... modifying it urself and like... changing ur ecu and shi+ is the best way to go... plus if u ever get pulled over and the cop asks to see ur hood :P aint nuttin but stock bitch

You still can't touch Turbo though. NA your limited to how much air your engine can suck in. FI means you jsut ram that **** in. To go all motor you have to spend big bucks to run with the Big boy's. With a Turbo you can make even a Primitive 8v volkswagen fast. But if it came down to a Turbo-D or a NA-B motor Id tottally go with a B. There just so much better. Turbo a D motor and You still ahve an economy car motor. Modify a B motor and your starting with a Performance engine. You can make any car fast. But speed cost's money, How fast do you want to go?

shouldn't arguing about Turbo versus NA be in the Performance section?

we are talking about 1/4 mile times predicted of the car setup posted onthe first post of this thread.

so lets keep it on topic and talk about 1/4 mile times and how fast this car should be. this is commonly refered to as bench racing.
