Gatherer's and Stewpiddass's 2005 Challenge

No Bruno it's not.
Hanif is still around and still has a Red Hatch...
However RRRex is Miles, a lover of the CRX. he took rookie champions in the 2004 solo 1 series and was one of the top 5 overall the other 4 top 5 guys were also HADA members, driving Hondas or Acura's. HADA really cleaned up in Solo 1 this year.

Hello Everyone,
in the interest of showing all you hot shots up (and I know there are tons of you that think your a hot shot.) come take the 2005 beginners challenge. here's how it works.
I drive a stock class civic, Stewpiddass drives a street prepared civic. both are prepped close to the max for the classes they are in.
If you come out to a club level autocross (regionals won't count because you don't qualify to run them) and want to take the challenge you have to let one of us know before hand. you enter the event. if your fastest time of the day is better the one of our fastest times of the day we will pay you your entry fee to the event. you beat both of us you get back 2 times your entry fee from us. If you lose (which you will) then you don't get anything from us ( but you also don't have to pay us anything either).
This is for people that have been to 3 or less autocrosses in their life time.
I ran this in 2003 and 2004 and have yet to be beaten. I have run the stock car against guys with B series swaps and turbos. No problem 2005 should be a yawn again since there's no one brave enough to take me up on the challenge.. and if they do get the ***** to come out they ain't fast enough to take my money.
Stewpiddass you can add your Smack talk anywhere you want

Michelle if you come out I'll pay your first entry fee regardless...
Not Because we need more women to get involded but simply because I've been bugging you to come out for so long

Marsh,
Where is WOSCA's schedule???
start a thread and I'll sticky it. WOSCA events are great learning events
anyways as for your civic. 13's are great but be careful of the rim width and offset for the rear. the limiting factor is where the upper control arm connects top the rear trailing arm.
it's nice to see you in HS this year. (handing my *** to me)

BTW what would you recommend for summer street tires. I can't justify putting $800 worth of T1S on a $2000 car. I was thinking about azensis. Do they come in 13's or 14's. Anyway I hope to have it safetied for Sunday. I'm not sure it it's solo ready though, but it survived the drive home today.
PS: sorry for draggin this way off topic.
