1997 Neon Sport Vs. B16 Civic 94 H/B

Ok here's the scoop.

My buddy thinks that a 1997 Dodge Neon Sport can beat my new "Happyb16" civic. He said that the neon would have an exhuast and an intake and it would "smoke mine"

i personally think that your car would, LSD would help with the launch, your putting down 150 to the wheels. 1997 Dodge Neon sport what model?

But i still think that you would win.

oh BTW, who cares who wins, have a contest who can pick up the most girls, your car is pimp! Happyb16 put it well, you are one lucky SOB. You have one of the nicest civics i've seen, Congrats man. Let that guy think whatever he wants to think, your car is probably faster, nicer, and everything else.

B16 Civic hands down....I have seen a D16 Civic beat one of those. Tell your friend that the head gasket in that car should be going pretty soon, have it looked at.

I have driven a 95 Neon Sport, car shakes like a bastard after 120km/h.

OK

I'm the bad one of the bunch.

I think it will be a close race. I've owned a 1998 neon sport and those things really do have *****. I was able to pick off civics with no problem. Single cam neons will have trouble with civics but the DOHC that came in the neon sport does have tons of power.

A DOHC neon with only a cold air intake ran a clean 15.0 & 14.8. I saw this with my own eyes so no bullshit.

Don't get me wrong neons will fall apart on you in 2years, they rattle and make all kinds of noise, I'll never own one again but you have to realize they do have power.

As an FYI... I own a hybrid civic so I know how fast they are too...

I'll repeat myself again and say that It all comes down to the driver.

On another note, you are 1 lucky **** for picking up the "Happyb16" civic.

Enjoy it and take care of it!!!

With the power being almost equal (edge to B16) I would have to give it to the civic. That car has no weight to it. As long as the driver doesn't screw up the civic should win.

B16 all the way.

The neon will prolly break down half way thru the race!!!

Lets not forget: power to weight ratio!
