Just wondering when ordering from Honda dealership what parts do you ask for Timing belt and water pump for b16a

its a JDM b16a from Japan P-30 out of a 92-95 Del sol

Ask for a 94 del sol vtec DOHC. Thats what i asked for.

or you can use the 99-00 SiR parts for the timing belt/water pump

ok so p-72 parts will fit it?

I asked for 2000 SIR from Honda

If your not too sure, you can always ask the guy to cross reference them to see if the parts are the same from other years. Thats what i do when im looking for a specific part.

p72 water pump will work, but the timing belt won't. The p72 parts are from a GSR, so the belt will be too long....but all of the b-series VTEC water pumps are basically the same.

I never knew the GSR belt was longer. I've actually seen a few sites that sell timing belts and saying it will fit all DOHC B-seires motors. Chris V_2 sent me this link a few weeks ago and it's great for referencing parts between various models.
