Soon To: B16a Swap 91 civic

Alrighty guys, the time's come to toss in a b16 instead of the silly d16

Any tips. Hints, Problems you've run into, the hard parts etc. etc.
Anything that'll help me along my little journey i'd appreciate it!

I'll post pics of the swap as well.

I looked back fondly on my B16 swap way back in 02. The only problem I had was I read the pinouts top row to bottom row on the ecu rather then up and down. So when I installed the wiring for my new injectors and vtec I royally messed up my car. All it did when you turned the key was to pump gas into the cylinders until you unhooked the battery! My advice to you would be to take numerous detailed pics of how your motor is connected the car, wiring, vacuum hoses, fuel lines, etc. That really aided me when i put my new motor in. Although in my case it wa a long time from when I took the motor out before I put the new one in. Over a period of time I slowly degreased, and clean the engine bay. Then a painter buddy came up and sprayed my engine bay the new colour in a cacoon I built for the car.

Telling you this brought a picture to mind!

EF's are a little harder to install the engine b/c the battery tray is in the way, I suggest removing the battery tray and or getting an "engine leveller" to use on your cherry picker so that you can angle the engine (tranny lower than engine) when droppin it in.
