short ram or cold air intake , a name brand header (DC sports) makes a good unit and a 2.5" exhaust.

If your looking for more you could run a skunk2 intake manifold and bigger throttle body but the best bang for you buck would be to turbo

good luck with you build.

Basic bolt-ons like I/H/E won't make much of a difference, if anything.

To really make a difference you need to go turbo.

What is your budget and goals for the car? What will you be using the car for?

Unfortunately bolts on in a d series engine do not make much power.. You ll probably spend a 1000 $ and add 5-10 hp

Like MPR said , turbo is the way to go if you want more power..

Check the search option ( top bar) lots of info there

Unfortunately you are driving a 4 cilynder so bolts on may be cheap but they won increase your HP

The only thing that is cheap ( around 500) and can give you power (temporary) is NOS , but i lot of people dont like to be on the bottle

My advise to you would be to slap in a K&N replacement filter in the factory airbox and just leave it stock. Will be the most reliable that way...lol.

Save up so that down the road you can do some mods that are more worthwhile istead of spending it on a bunch of little stuff that won't make a difference.
