first off, pr3 pistons are only available in 81-82mm sizes, and a b20 block is 84mm bore size. ur going to need either a set of rs machines 84-85mm pistons or a forged set for the motor (along with the required machine work). 400cc injectors aren't needed, but if u have them already, run it. the oem fpr is fine, not need to upgrade there. i also noticed that u mentioned s2 cam gears & stiffer valvesprings, but no mention of cams. do u plan on upgrading the camshafts too?

sorry yes i wanted to upgrade the shafts to skunk2 stage 2

also do you have a recomendation for the pistons?

i also found out the the fuel pressure regulator on the b20 couldnt handle or wouldnt be good when doing a vtec conversion

who told u that? the oem fuel system can support a good deal of power once the pump, injectors and ecu maps are upgraded/tweaked. as for pistons, u only really have one option if ur staying cast, and thats rs. if u want a forged piston, u might as well swing for a set of forged rods and that will probably send u out of budget. if this is motor is going to be a run in ur dd/ocassional lapping day whip, i'd opt for a smaller cam (bc3+, ctr/itr, s2s1/blox a), intake manifold (ported p30), not too stiff of an aftermarket valvespring (supertech, omni, b.crower), non titanium retainers (chromoly) and a non chitech rep header (vibrant j spec 4-2-1, edelbrock 4-2-1 w/ collector mod or sp toda rep).

Wouldn't the FPR be from the GSR and not the B20?

im not just reading lists but seeing as how this is my first ever build first ever engine swap first ever b series ya im kind of a n00b at this. from every build that i find, i see the pieces involved and research each piece and what its used for and price so sorry if i dont know that p30 pistons arent 84 mm but now i do

again this is more of an oppinion thread so that people can tell me whats wrong in that build or what i'd need

Im not a big fan of Skunk2 cam's. Ive seen them snap inside the engine at the track and have read a ton more horror storys. All though Ive herad alot of good stuff, its just hard to trust them when you've seen the carnage Ive seen.
Getting soem ARP headstuds should be on your to do list, some ARP rod bolts are a good buy to.

every time I come on here your talking about a different direction you wanna go. all build have pros and cons. and are gonna cost you more coin then you originally budgeted for. go to the track where you would wanna run your car and watch to see what others have under there hood. ask them about problems they've had and if they'd do it again or go a different route. until you see things with your own eyes your not gonna know what you wanna do. if your just gonna keep change your mind you'll never build anything you'll just be stuck in limbo looking for the perfect cookie cutter motor swap. and even if you did find it then you're gonna find that the car you built isn't what everyone would build, or you rims or your interior. sit down think about what you wanna do with your car, make a choice and then go through with it. ignore the haters on specific motors including my dislike of the h22 and just read up on the problems associated with that particular set up, and prepare for it. I'm doing a turbo D you think I don't hear people telling me to go a different route. I picked that set up and I'm doing it. then when it's done I'll go hunting for haters and see if I can school them at the track. D,B,F,H, or K. four pistons and 16v head build it up make more power get clowned on for what you built and enjoy it all the same. I've seen guys put d's in integ's. sounds really dumb to me and I like the d. but I bet it make them happy so that's all that matters.

Lol I've already decided what build I want to take I'm not asking your oppinions on what motor to put in just what parts to go in there and ya I've thought about this and did quite a bit of reading on the pros and cons of this build but I think that this build suits me

Like I'm not desperate for money but I can't buy everything in one go so if anything I'm looking for what's essential first than tuning up power

mugen power has already stated a good budget build for a b20vtec.

Skunk2 stage2 cams have a loud *** and quite aggressive vtec crossover (due to their smaller primary lobes and bigger vtec lobes). I haven't had too many problems with skunk2 cams, but thats about the only skunk2 product I'd use in my car. I've seen tonnes of sticky skunk2 throttle bodys, broken suspension parts and less than ideal results using their intake manifolds.
