I think a CF trunk would look pretty hot with the hood... and maybe even painting the roof black as well, to make for a nice flow?

*anxiosly awaiting for fashion **** Bruno to agree or strike this down!*

real spoon mirrors only come in C/F now as I understand it... but you can still get ABS plastic replicas, and ultimately that's what I recommend. I would not paint the roof, that's too much of a modification (ie. not easily reversable). I do like the look of the black roof - very Japanese Police-like. I'd also add the japanese characters for the complete police package look, but I'd stay away from the aero hood visors that their cars have. c/f trunks are just dead sexy on coupes cuz not many ppl have them. it provides almost instant baller status.

Hatches are a different story altogether. While they can look cool, they can actually be heavier than stock, like the ViS version for the EP, once you factor in the glass (not sure about the EK)

If you just want the look of a black colour trunk, then vinyl it. If you are actually concern of weight, then sure, lighter the better.

To locate an original Spoon mirror is rather hard. CF is easy as you all know.
