Windshield repair??

Not sure if this belongs in this thread or not, but I guess I'll post here.

I have crack in my windshield, and I just noticed it today. Its pretty thin, but long. I was wondering where I could go to get this fix asap.

I don't want the crack to get bigger and bigger.

Where's the best and cheapest place to get this fixed??

Any recommendations??

TIA.

I'm so pissed, brand new car, not even 2 years old and the windshield is already cracked.

I would suggest Igor at Krown Lakeshore/AutoMetrik.

More info on the affiliates page.

Oh he does windshields too?? cool.

I gotta go for my rust proofing soon, so I guess I'll give him a call.

Yeah they do windsheilds. Give him a call, its probably safer and cheaper in the long run just to replace the whole thing. Igor will hook you up.

it has nothing to do with the actual windshield its got to do with the places the car goes to and travels on.

and windshields are actually upgraded each year to a higher standard to stay ahead of the DOT/SAE approvals by the manufacturers

Speedy does repair, i think i paid $60 something for it to get a safety. With mine, they weren't able to repair it, only stop it from spreading, but its a free to see if yes they can get it or no.

the guy told me straight up, this one probably won't be fully repaired.

it has nothing to do with the size of the rock it has to do with the weight and the shape and the amount of force applied by the rock towards the windshield.
