Bro in my opinion the best thing to do is go and get your self 4 sets of wheel locks, and put 4 different locks on each rims, that way there is no way in hell ne of these asshles is gonna spend time taking them off, i did that on my civic and when it was stolen the only things on the car were my rims everything else was stripped, i;'m sure that pissed them off, but they still could get them off, these days getting the keys for the lock nuts is not hard but if they have to get 4 of them then thats no fun at all.

It's a good idea but i'v heard the the locks don;t hold as tight as the reg nuts and don;t forget about how much your SHOP if gonna hate you if you have to take off your RIMS. ****

My brother's friend is a mechanic, and I could not believe how easy it can be to take the wheel locks off when you know how). I won't post it here just in case some theive is reading this. I'll be there Wed to tell you how he does it. (a lot of customers seem to lose thier wheel locks and he has to take them off when he does the tire repairs all the time) And different locks on all the wheels don't really slow him down. Sorry I had to break someones bubble. He did say that wheel locks are better than no locks at all! He told me to get the new tuner style "spline drive" locks that Mc Guard has $$$ ? I think he said $75 - $100. Crappy tire can get them. They look nice (different coloured caps) and are hard to remove on a rim that has narrow holes for the nuts. http://www.mcgard.com Enjoy this one goes right to the locks I,m talking about... http://www.mcgard.com/automotive/new_prod.asp

Alright, my response had NOTHING to do with the actual sale or purchase of lock nuts so I copied the thread over into the Exterior Forum and left a copy of it here.

For those that are interested in selling, offering advice on where to purchase or whatever, you can post here.

For those that want to debate this new wheel lock cracking technique, head over to the Exterior/Lighting Forum

Regards,
OK

hey pulove ... those lugs+lock are not bad... I always thought the McGard stuff are crap.... but I guess I was wrong
but a question though.... it looks like the keys are all the same?... then that means if someone had that same lock then they can unlock it

i asked someone at performance improvments and what he said was that they make a certain batch with the same key pattern..say like 10000 sets...but they only send a certain number of those sets to any one location..so like 20 to toronto...2 to montreal...20 to chicago...blah blah...so the chances of you BUYING two identical sets is low....but for a theif they prob have several keys...
