hey, i also have an 05 civic w/ HIDs and i just aimed them lower and i have no problems blinding people.

just aim your headlights a little lower so on a flat road its lighting upto like half their trunk lids, then go drive around a bit and see how it is, and you wont have a problem.

by the way, did u just remove your grille or add some mesh or wat? it looks good

I just got HID's for my 2002... Look SWEET.
When did HID's become illegal? From my last understanding, a Peel Regional Police Office on Rogers cable 10 <last year sometime>. Stated that they preffered HID's because they are brighter and safer, but that they must be aimed properly.

Second I have a problem with my Lenses. My drivers side is brighter then my passenger side, no matter what light's I put in Silver Stars, Kypton Show Offs, Stock, Nokya and now my HID's. I have adjusted them as much as possible... and Mine are aimed LOW... from a safe distance away my hot spots are along the average bumper line. .. how can i fix/ adjust them? Anyone had this problem?

OH yeah.. anyone have any Idea's of how to create DRL's, my HID kit is an H4 but only a Low Beam, so I lost my High's and DRL's.. any one have and solved this problem?

OH and Can I just buy a for example 8000k bulb and plug it into my ballast that came with 4100k or 4500k or any other K then 8000k?

HEHE...
6500k. I'm very happy with them. Korean Made 'Lucent'.

I just put them in... I need to find a nice dark area.. and take some pics... like that guy with an EK hatch.. and 8000k,

I figure I'm going to wire up OEM Style replacement Fog lights for my DRL's... anyone know how to wire up fog lights so that they can be turned on only when the ignition is on?

So if I forget to turn them off, when I turn off my car they will automatically turn off?

meh...
they are pretty...

Beamers always behind me pissing me off with their HID's.... So now I get behind them .... MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA....

Glare seems ok.. aimmed pretty low... lower then what some people have suggested they be set in this post. I think I do exceed the 200meter mark in viability.

I drove behind my friend, when I first put them in.. ESP... he helped with the install. And he was SOOO very **** about them not being to bright.. and that I need Eyelids so i dont **** everyone off.. yada yada yada...
But he didnt really say anything... so I think Im good... Just need to fix them so they both look the same brightness..

hey rjngo i got the kit from speedstar too...4k kit as well. i chose it over the prolumen cuz it's philips ballast, which i know will last longer and would be better quality than other brands.
gotta admit it is really bright and the glare is killing oncoming cars. i should lower my beams more although it is at normal level.
the kit does cost more than prolumen but it is philips comparing to some china or taiwan brand. you get what you pay for i guess.
and yes i do love the light output on these.
