Towels to use for cleaning/waxing

What are the best towels to use for cleaning plastics, vinyl, etc and for applying/buffing wax?

I bought some 100% cotton towels from The Bay but they leave tons of lint behind.

What should I be buying?

So did I waste my money on these towels from The Bay? Dammit, they cost me $18.

Or can I still use them to apply the cleaners/waxes?

Are they like bath towels or what?? If they are fairly large you could always use them to dry the car. I sometimes steal a bath towel from my parents to dry my car. They hold a lot of water.

You must of bought cheap ones.
Make sure the terry towel material is 100 % egyption cotton it is very thick with a deep pile to it.
it leaves no lint and will not scratch your car.
I usually buy mine from walmart about 10 bucks for 36"x72" towel then I cut them up and go over to my mommies
to serge them with her seger thingy machine so the edges are finished off and they don't fray.

i luv the towels Aaron, but i just don't find them soft enuf for Zaino, the pile just feels off when applying the stuff..i really do appreciate them tho, they've been put to use elsewhere..

Simonize work well, just give 'em a shake or two first..
100% US cotton towels are best, tho if yer after that baby's *** feel?? try cloth diapers..

i find the deeper the pile the better the towel, well, with the products i use anyway..
another good thing is those small round cloth applicators for applying the product, the ones with the finger pocket..again, works great with Zaino..

chamois are good, but they can be a hassle sometimes..
the hyper-dry are pretty good, i have 5 of them and like them..
tho i'm tempted to go back to the artificial chamois tho, they just feel better when wiping down the car, ya, leave a little material once in a while but..

i'll have to go pick one up again and compare them to the HyperD's

I use this to wipe down the car after I wash it real good. (don't use it if you have a drity car that is wet.....a big NO-NO.......scratch)......but if you just finished washing the car,

I use a regular bath towel to dry up the parts I missed.

Time to a dry car.....under 5 min.......2 if I rush.

It just takes some time to get used to using it. Works GREAT on windows/winshields.

Best $15 U.S. I ever spent.

I also have a second one for the shower......cuts down on the "spots".

Sometimes Crappy Tire has them on sale for around $27.

While your at it, pick up one of these too. (at Dark Nights it was a very helpful) I got mine in Detroit (AutoZone) for $7 U.S. It came with the small one too.....but I can't remember where the little one went.
