takes forever to get soap out of a chamois !!!

Is it just me, or does it take forever to get soap out of a chamois when cleaning it after a carwash! If you don't get it out properly it all gets back on your car the next time when you use it! I guess it depends on what you use to clean it. They recommend a mild liquid detergent. Any suggestions ?

why do you have soap on the chamois??
your car should be clean after washing it, not while drying it...

imo, throw it in the wash and hang it out to dry..

i dont even wash it ... i just dry the car off with it and throw it on the shelf.. sure it doesnt look clean but it still absorbs the hell outta the water.
