Many moons ago (when I was 16) I had an 1988 Grand Am. I had tint king do a sunroof mod on the car. It worked well. I wouldn't attempt it yourself.

Man, I have no idea. It was about 8 years ago now. I'm not even sure if they still do it. Give them a call on the phone.

They did do a good job though.

mod is medium IFFFF u got every single piece for the sunroof assembly AND u got some metal supports. just remember its not WORTH doing an OEM moonroof cuz u will be spending so much that u might aswell go aftermarket rag top

Do a search and you'll find a post I had way back about moonroofs and where I was recommended to get it done. I'm doing mine next spring.

I did mine myself...not that hard...I'd say the hardest part was scoring and cutting out the hole in the roof...that was scarey...wear gloves and long sleeves if you do...those edges can tear you apart...heh...I know...phew! lol...I've had mine for about a year and no leaks, no problems. Fully motorized and all. Just do it. You won't regret it.

Cheers,
Buddah.

I had mine done at ASC(american sunroof company)
They are the best...well back in 96. Mine is power slider in or pop up. cost me $800 back then but I hear now it around $1200...but with you looking at getting it done in the off season it is prolly cheaper.

ASC out by meadowvale and sheppard does all the conversions for east end toyota dealers.

Bit of a hassel to sell ur car and then buy another car just for the purpose of getting a moonroof. Keep in mind you have to find another car, see if you like it, pay the tax, emissions, safety, ownership change and blah blah.......too much work for a sunroof if u ask me....but thats just my 0.02
