lol, i posted a question about the removing them but i figured it out on my own... take a look at this civic,pretty nice... but must have cost a lot:

what did you do with your side mouldings?? shave them or just take em off

yeah i wanna shave the sides off mine...but i gottta save up...

Well for that sir, there were holes going along the car since the strip is held in by clips not by tape like the older gen's...

ohh helll no!! ha ha

i painted my side mouldings before and after 6 months they turned brown ha ha...yeah i heard you can use like bondo but it might warp after like a year or so...

most EKs are still too new to have extensive body work done to them, so you dont' see shaved anything too often

when they get older, more ppl will get stupid with them, I'm sure.

no, my buddy's EG wasn't just removed, it was SHAVED! Like the indentation was filled in and smoothed to be like the Prelude body - no interruptions.

i have an si...cx's and dx's are just double sided tape that you can remove like that...so when you see a car running around with no side mouldings...u'll know ha ha
