I think so too.... but for the time being... it's still being tested so no modification will be done yet...

I say overall the installation is easy.... everything is included
and the fit is perfect
during the day it doesn't look as bright but @ night it looks sweet

oh ya..... something else to add to the install
the way I have it wired up is so it lights up when the parking lights are on and blinks when the signals are on
but you can also wire it up so it only blinks when ur signals are on so it doesn't have to stay on when ur parking lights are on

unfortunatelly the color of the bulbs can't be changed since they LEDs and are seald within the plastic housing
for now Z2autosport only have these sidemarkers in white with amber leds only so there will not be any option in color of the sidermarkers

not sure of the life expectancy.... but it should last for a long time since LEDs normally last quite a long time

How can you make the sidemarker light only come on when you turn on your signals? If they were on constant wouldn't they burn out faster?

When I said modification, I ment that I would probably get a set, take them apart, shorten the light so it would fit a 5th gen HB, and change the colour of the led.

How can you make the sidemarker light only come on when you turn on your signals? If they were on constant wouldn't they burn out faster?
Led's last a long time....they don't give off heat, and it's just a matter of picking 2 of the 3 wires to make it do what you want it to.

1. On all the time
2. Flash only when signaling
3. Both of the above

just wondering if you guys know what the life of the lights is?...i guess u wont know firsthand for a while..but wondering if the manufacturer mentioned it
Duy, have you found out how much it will end up costing us yet? ie......price, tax if any, S/H, duty? What's the total?

Do you have an alarm on your car? If you do, how old is it? It has an led right? Led's last a very long time when the correct voltage is used to light them up.

I'll quote Tony (owner of Z2autosport) in a recent email conversation we had.

"Just saw the install review...NICE. I noticed one of the guys in the forum asked about the life of the LEDs. The LEDs that we use have been tested and last somewhere in the neighborhood of 250,000 hours of constant use. Because of design limitations the LEDs cannot be changed. In the case of LED failure, I will replace the whole sidemarker free for the life of the vehicle.

Thanks again,
Tony
