that sucks ***... you can have your window polished out, but it costs as much as getting a new glass almost.

Yeah screwdriver and some time, that way you can replace the thing

Seriously......depending on how bad it is, theres not much you can do...........tell your bro to pay for a new window.

I'm the kind of person, that if i want something done right, sometimes I have to be the one to do it.

Like bbarbulo said, to get someone to buff it out (that's IF it CAN be buffed out) would cost about the same as a new window (maybe more). Also, alot of the time, if you DO get a glass buffed, there will be a "distortion" in the glass when you look through it.....understand?

I guess you over looked this part when you read it...

"Keep Glass Wet With Water and Spinning Abrasives Moving Across Entire Surface to Avoid Heat Build-Up and Optical Distortion."

The part i'm talking about is the part that says...."Optical Distortion". That is when there is a wave in the glass due to the uneven thinkness of the glass......due to the sanding/polishing. It can almost look like you are looking through a pair of prescription glasses.

lets see.....$50 for the kit.....then around $100 for a new glass becuse the distortion bothers you. Just call the scarp yard and get a replacement window if it bothers you that much. Even professionals have a hard time removing scratches from glass without causing a warped/distortion to it.
