Rim size help!!

hey guys,

i currently drive a 1999 red civic hatch back, and its slammed on sirs, which are 15's
i have about $1000 to spend on new rims and tires, and i have my mind set of a couple of things, mostly black or gunmetal with a polished lip. the only advice i need is size, i like the way my car looks with 15s but i hate how i see so much tire with the sirs, so im thinking, should i go 16 with a really low pro tire, and will it look better, and be the same height, or get 15s, and find a low pro tire for those, i really like to see more rim then tire when a car is lowered not too sure what i should go with?

or maybe even help by posting pics of a car slammed on 15s, and a car slammed on 16s?
