I second that request. Which vendor in Toronto would be the best bet?

I don't think there are vendors that do any retro fitting at all in canada.
There are only a few companys in the states that strickly do retro-fitting.

If there are enough people maybe i can work somthing out.

i can provide you guys with one contact in mississagua.....but the labor charge is typically $300 for the project. you supply everything...leave the stuff and pick it back up all assembled.

so if you are serious, PM me and i can provide the info. Think over it first...i dont wanna give out the contact if you dont ahve the money or havent made up your mind.

Are we talking custom work here in Toronto, or being sent out somewhere in the States?

And pricing?

there is a place in the states........I was just hoping their would be one in Ontario.

http://www.customlightz.com/

you send what ever you can i beleive and they'll assemble it.....and add extras such as led turn signals or halo/angel eyes.

if the link does not work just type "custom lightz" in google. And lights is spelled with a "z" at the end

The likelihood of pulling you over with retro-fitted HID's is less then plug-and-play HID's which have a nice glade that blinds other drivers.

Nonetheless cops can still pull you over for it, retrofitted or not.

i've driven behind, in front and beside cops with my retrofit headlights and havent had a single problem. i've even been pulled over and the officer said nothing about the car, he just wanted to give me a breathalizer test because i was driving slow.

Agreed, theres a guy at work who had his retro'd and hes had no problems with the law. Looks identical to a factory vehicle HID setup (no glare and sharp cutoff).

Hes had it for about 3 years now.

However, I also agree with the few of you up there, for it being a problem in a non HID headlamp unit, the refraction is bound to be different than a vehicle's headlamp that was made for an HID setup.

I know a guy that does retrofits but you have to supply the projector and oem housing or even aftermarket housings. His name is Sam, call him between 5 and 9 during the evening @
647-886-4194. He's located near the 401 and DVP. Tell him Narad reffered you (the guy with the gray civic)
