replacing rocker panels
the rocker panels on my 89 hatch are in kind of ruff shape. I believe what happened (before I owned it) a hole in the wheel formed and the rockers filled up with water and rusted, now it looks like the rockers are coming appart from the body. The whole in the wheel well has been repaired, but the rockers are still not looking good, and are kind of rotted. The rest of the car is in excellent shape.
I have been looking at Cross Canada parts, and they have replacement rocker panels http://www.crosscanadaparts.com/cgi-...l?img_num=2908 SKU: 290800-1, but they seem kind of cheap (38.98) compared to the dealer, which I believe is 150 a side. Are they any good? has anybody had any experience with Cross Canada parts?? or better yet has anybody ever replaced the rockers on thier 4th gen?? I was quoted a while ago at Pickering honda I believe (this was a while ago) 500 installed (not painted). but I would imagine I could do it cheaper buying from these cross canada people...
any suggestions??
thanks....
