removing kaminari body kit for winter
i want to get a kaminari kit for my 2001 civic, but i have to remove it for the winter time, can this be done with out any damage to the car or the kit. Does anyone else take thiers off every winter and then reinstall it come summer? Or are some kits better than others to remove?
thx

99 percent of the time kits that get installed dont get taken off. because of seveal reasons such as moulded bumpers and sides, kit fitament, paint chips, scratches and flakes, etc....
if ur planning on putting a kit and then removing it u better spend alot of money for a proper kit (authentic) and not a knockoff cuz the fitament would be so **** that taking it off would cost u the same to install again.

lol my retarded friend had a teg wit a moulded kit, hit a tiny patch of ice that he couldnt break from his driveway one day, smashed the **** outta the front and cracked it at both fenders, i dunno who would mould the **** ne ways but it got fuycked up, he ended up selling the car, also it was stock ride hight, the fuel pump died and we left it on the side of the road to get a tow truck, while we were gone max 1.5 hours the cops had it towed to their impound, the used a reg tow truck smashed his rear bumper into 4 pieces and ****ed his front end up even more i dunno wut the tow truck guy did but hes ****ed.... if u get a kit dont mould, if u do dont drive it in the winter, if u install a kit its just as many bolts as a stock bumper so yea its easy to remove and put ur stock one back on, but like ruckus said, make sure u spend the cash for a GOOD kit that accually fits i wouldnt go with fibreglass thats for sure.
