Ragtop

Im wondering if anyone has done a ragtop on a EG hatch????

I think it would look nice.... so Im starting to plan for this mod to be done by end of May... But I just wanted some feedback on waht it could cost and also what shops would ppl suggest?

any info is Awesome and also What about instead adding two EG SI sunroofs one in the normal spot over front seats and another over the back seats for your passengers?

thanks Kirk

What would you do to counter then immense lose structural rigidity removing the roof would entail?

I don't think he is talking about making his car a convertible.

My understanding is that a Rag Top refers to a car with a solid roof, only the finish on the roof is some sort of cloth or leather rather thatn paint.

Some older Cadillacs have it. The cherry red ones with a white/cream rag top look 'dope' or 'fresh' or even 'ill' in some cases.

The only problem with the hatch is where you would stop the fabric...On sedans, the bottom of the rear pillars make a perfect spot.

ragtop refers to a sliding cloth sunroof...not the carriage or landau tops on cadillacs and such

HA-HA! I added up all the money that guy with the rag top hatch claims he spend and it comes out to $23,926. What a flamer, His car looks ridiculus and for that money he could have bought something better and worked on that instead.
