Projector Halo
Does anyone know what the difference between projector Halo with chorme/ion and chrome/clear is. As well what kind of bulbs do they use and where can i get a set for my 98 Civic Coupe.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

im not 100% sure on this...... but ill give it a shot
im pretty sure that the "ion" projecters have a slightly bluish tint on the projecter........while the clear is just...... well clear?
as for the chrome....... that would be the color of the housing
in terms of bulbs i THINK you use any H4 bulb you wish?

It looks like it uses two bulbs per housing...Im clear on the ION thing though. I found out that the HALO ring is lit by a led. An ION led give a higher output that a regular one... But im still unclear on the number of bulbs used.
If anyone else has info that would be great. Also any places in Markham to get one.A price would be nice also.

Bond is correct......on projector headlights, the high beam is and H1 bulb and the low beam is an H3 bulb.
The housing has a two bulb setup and opposed to the single bulb setup that the stock headlights have.

Your stock connection should plug into a harness which splits the bulbs to the H3 and H1 coinnections. For the halo lights you would want to splice into your side markers .At least that is how mine is
