Problems with Angel Eyes.

Hi everyone.
I have had Black housing angle eyes on my 93 Coupe, since 3 months ago.
They came with a connecting wires, that replaces factory ones.
This wire connects to the battery, has couple relays and 3 connectors. One connector hooks up to the passenger side, factory headlight wire, and the other 2 connectors his new wire has, go to the projectors.
This wire enables the LOW beams to stay ON, when I go HIGH beam. For better visibility of course.

Now the problems are:

1. No such thing as DAY TIME driving beams exist now, and therefore, when releasing the hand brake, High beams go on (Carrying LOWS with them) And the only solution is to turn the headlights on, so High goes off, and Low stays on.
How can I deal with this day time running beam problem?

Please note that this set of wire that came with the Angle Eye projectors is necessary, and by using factory wire, whole thing gets very mixed up.

2. My angle eyes BURNT OFF !! Seems to b the LEDS, but they are gone!! First it was the driver side, and then the passenger.
I had the Angle eyes (rims) wires connected to the head light connector and worked very nicely and beautifully for about 1 - 1 1/2 months and then they burnt off!!

Any ideas to what caused them to burn off?
Any tips to how to deal with day time running beams?

Thanks alot in advance for any help.

i had the same problem when i hooked up the harness, so i jsut pluged the lights into the stock connectors and they work fine, except they burn out every 2months or so. When you say the "the rims" do you mean the halos that surround the projectors? If so the 4 halos are suppose to be wired into the corner lights.

yeah the corner lights are wired to the corner bulb wiring. That way, they stay on when you turn on your headlights and when you turn on the car with the handbrake up.

Unless you have warranty, I think I might know a website that shows you how to fix that. It may be difficult and you may need pro help from some of the guys on here, but you can replace the wiring and the LED bulb itself no problem. The parts cost $5 bucks per bulb at most.

Check all the wiring first though, you may have burnt some wires.

Let me look for that site and I'll get back to you.

Hey man.
Heah I meant the Halos. I didn't want to connect them to corners since every time I ARM or DISARM my alarm, they blink. So I thought it wouldn't be good for the HAlo LEDs ....
Anyway all four are now gone!! I could replace th LEDS tough, but its a hassle ripping apart the head light with all that insoluation.....
I'm pissed man! I really liked the shitty things! Damn it, nothing lasts anywhere close to OEM stuff...

Hey I also have problems, with tunning the beams on the road. One head light is good and I got it right on the road by playing with the screws at the back of the head lights, but the other head light beam is still off range, no matter how much I tune the crapy thing!
Any comments?
Thanks.

funny, I got mine 2 months ago and it works fine. And believe me, I do plenty of driving(ask bbarbulo)and arming/disarming the car and the LED's are still kickin bright.

the other misaligned light may be the projector lens itself which is directed in the wrong direction. might wanna check that out(but at your own discretion-remember it's just a comment). but I know there is someone on TCC that is really good at aiming lights can't remember who.
