ok guys im trying to put power mirrors on my civic which did not originaly have them.... so far i have..

-eg power mirror switch + harness
-spoon replica power mirrors + harness
-relay
-wires


from what i know i have all i need...

can anyone tell me how to wire this all up... i've looked around but all i can find is diagrams for power folding mirrors and that involves more wires...

any help would be greatly appreciated

I guess I'm #3, because I'm having trouble myself. Mine jus' randomly stopped working.

You can use the same diagram, but there should be one on here (probably in archives) for the wiring. I know because I used it for when I did mine. Keep searching, I know there is one there.

If not, use the one you have for the power folding. I think there are two extra wires, just have to figure out which one's they are.

here's a diagram that i found.... doesn't make sense to me... there is only one extra wire coming from the switch and thats A........ thats the only one that goes into the relay... so it doesn't make sense to me since i don't need that wire for power mirrosr but its the only one that goes into the relay










ok now heres one from the haynes manuel.... it all looks good except for it doesn't show a relay...

i think i am going ot have it done by selective sound. i just got my OEM honda relay and it came with two different types of wiring diagrams.....they are too damn complicated...ill leave it upto the pros....

all you really need is

power mirrors and the harnesses
the switch to control it with a harness
and a relay (doesnt even have to be oem)

you wire them all up to each other and then wire the power wire to the ignition wire with a fuse inbetween.
pretty simple.

hahah yeah thats easy to say for someone that im sure has done this kinda stuff before... i really wouldnt know where to start... thats why a diagram would really help

i already have a haynes manuel... the diagram from it is posted in this thread... it was one of the diagrams i posted... but it doesn't show how the relay is wired in there
