Hey I recently bought some aftermarket oem 99-00 fender and it comes in black, How do i go about painting it? Do I need to sand/prime? or just go ahead and paint?

Also got a replica mugen lip, its from Poly Urethane, what do I need to do before I go about painting it?

if its new just wet sand the lip 1000 grit and fender just use a scotch brite Blending Pads red one

dude thats sick but I have one question, I did the same to mines, but in different steps. First I wet sanded with 1000 grit and then primed it, and used about 2 bottles of paint and 1 bottle of CC, but it doesn't have that shine (glosiness) that I want if you know what i'm taking about. Its like my 3rd DIY
