I bought one from CT, the same as Tego's, but it doesn't fit or look that good. The screws are too short so it doesn't tighten. I guess I could get longer screws, but the tip comes out from the bumper too much and it looks kinda cheesy . And I don't want one of those fat and loud ones...

yeah, I need to get at that.

Muffler turned out good!

Thats odd, that the tip sticks out and the screws are too short. My tip sits pretty flush with the bumper, I didn't have any problems with the screws being to short. Do you want me to take some pics close up?

That would be great Tego . I bought the same tip, so my mind is kind of boggled as to why it is doing this. Thanks.

Not the best pics but gives you an idea.

My muffler is so dirty right now....I should clean it up one of these days.

BTW, I painted the muffler on my '96 as well.

hey guys. Just got back from a scuba trip in Tobermory.

I realise now that my tip is very similar, but not exactly the same as yours Tego. Yours is shorter, which would be the reason mine sticks out too much. I'm going to take a trip to CT now and see if I can find the one you've got; I'm sure it will look much better.

probably a high heat flat black paint. look in the automotive paint section in canadian tire, dupli color makes a series of high heat paint.

I had some caliper spray paint left over from when I did those, so I just used it. It worked fine and can handle the hight heat. You can get it at CT, Partsource, and maybe Wal-Mart (I know they have the engine paint, not sure about caliper stuff. But it's all the same anyway).
