from my local Honda bodyshop, I got quoted $100 to repaint my old lip and $40 to install it.

Where did you buy it from? Maybe they have someone that they deal with.

Silver does not fade like other colours, the only problem with silver it colour matching it. you can get your stock colour VSM silver, and you'll be fine with it. It will look the same.

If you lower your car, don't fall in love with your lip, you might find yourself buying a new one in the not to distant future. (They break easily so I buy 2 or 3 and get them all painted at once)
