neon underbody question???

hey guys i was just wondering i have a 97 Si
with stock front back and sides
and was wondering if i got a neon underbody kit if
i went over a bump would they break
would it be better to get side skirts then the skirt would hit first before the bulbs just wondering
by the way my car is not lowered
and also are SiR side skirts different then my stock Si's besides being painted is there a size differnce
and is there a better spot to put the kit so that u won't see the bulbs or would the skirts hide them but can i hide them with stock sides just mount them farther back
thanks

A good neon install has the bulb suspended in the bottom of the car...

Neons look like *** when you see the bulb too..

You should just see the light...

I can't promise they won't break, but if you keep the offroading to a minimum you should be OK..

PM PULOVR about neon install tips...

Most people with the undercar neons that I've seen, you can see the whole side tubes. I tried covering them up with electrical tape but it just makes them less visible.... not very noticeable at all..

This may help, read it over before installing, might get a few tips

No way man.. I wanted to do it too!

But my friend said that if your car can go super fast and all you see is a trail of light.. than do it... THat's true.. in that case.. my civic has to be running 12s... lol

Also covering the bulbs is hard. I'm thinkingof a way to do it.. if I put it directly inside my side skirts.. it would shine light into the underside of the car and not out.. I gotta look under my car to see how this is gonna be done.

Pulovr has all the tips for you. Contact him.

neon man.. he gave me a lot of tips on mine.

If you have lower side skirts then that's a perfect tuck for the neons, the tube wouldn't be noticeable from the side
