Neon Or L.E.D
So... As cheesy as it sounds i would like the underside of my car to glow!! My question to you guys is...
Neon or L.E.D.?
I will be looking for a dark Blue colour, yes i am aware that Blue is a no-no!!!

L.E.D 4 sure!!! im going to go to Davis soon and get my kit installed if u want u can meet me there and c how it looks at night, and get Davis to install it 4 u cuz he told me a lot of good info and how other shops do a half @ss job and his price is unbeatable! and I think the blue is legal I forgot what Davis told me about the colors and the flashing?

Legality wise, it is a grey area. As long is the blue is not flashing then technical you are safe. If it where flashing you would be imitating a snow removal vehicle.
As for the LED to Neon question. There are pros and cons to both setups.
Neons:
Pros:
More uniform glow
Brighter depending on color
Cons:
Higher risk of bulb breaking
Hum from transformer
L.E.D.:
Pros:
More Color variations
Longer lasting *if one led goes out all the rest stay lit where as neon will go out* **duh**
More variation on light patterns i.e. dancing to music, strobing
Cons:
Tend to have "Hot Spots"
So the choice is up to you.
