Need help on my car.

I just installed my 1 piece Projector headlights with HID. I want to know is when i put my High beam lights. Are the low beam supposed to go off? Because 1 side turns on with the low beam and 1 side doesn't. So which is correct? I drive a 92 civic hatch. If anyone can help me out that will be appreciated. When i turn on my headlights low beam and high beam a couple of times the 1 side with low beam turns on too sometimes. What could be the problem. I know i'm not elaborating properly but i hope someone can help me. Thanx.

Also another question is i brought a 4 piece stock lip kit side and front and back. Am i supposed to take off the OEM black piece side so that i can put on my wingswest lip kit or do i put it on top of that. Also i want to know is that the wingswest lip kit i have does not have any mounting screws or any drilled holes. Am i supposed to drill my own hole or am i supposed to use those tape to stick it on. I'm scared that those tape might fly off while i'm driving. Hope ppl can help me out here. Thanx

when you turn off highbeam lowbeam light goes off and Projector goes back on

Isn't it: lowbeam projectors, highbeam is both?
On the one that is going off, check for a loose bulb, electrical connection or ground.

I have a the different problem. My daytime running lights is highbeam. Everything works properly otherwise.

on most every car, highbeams go on and lowbeams turn off. that's how it should be

your daytime running lights ARE your high beams... that is also how that works on Hondas.

My DRL is all 4 lights, my lowbeam is projectors, my highbeam is 4 lights.

I don't have daytime running lights because i have a 92. I think they start making a day time running light after 92 or 93 or something like that. I heard ppl say that highbeams is supposed to go on and low beam is supposed to go off. I'm kind of lost too. I never use my high beams anyways.

my 1990 has daytime running lights

Eugine, yeah prolly... ppl often modify the original wiring cuz they want greater fill so they put all 4 lights on.

there's gotta be someone with a 5th gen that knows for sure that low-beams turn off. anyone confirm??
