You get what you pay for...

Wait until you have the money to do it all at a reputable shop. You are just throwing your money out the window by going to Maaco. Don't do it! I've heard some very bad things about that place.

If anything, get your body work done for now, and save up until you have money to paint it...or wait until you have enough money for both before doing it.

They don't prep it properly. Proper prep work is 80% of a good paint job.

So that means they don't put enough primer and sand it eh? No wonder they say "get your car repainted for 499!"

Try masking.

A in a really good shop they'll take all the parts off bumpers, and lights, and mask everything like crazy. Like SW20 MR2 said, that work is almost 80- 90% of the job.

Macco is like that paint shop in GTA2. Great place to go when you need to duck away from the cops, bad if you actually like your car

Ty truuuust me
I have heard nothing but bad things about the Maaco paintjobs.
I know your money situation and stuff, but i think you should save up and go for a better place. The place Tre got his Lude painted was $1000 and it was a good job, 2 yr warranty too.

My 2cents

Yeah, wait until summertime and we can go to the place I got mine done. Maybe we'll get a deal getting both of our done at the same time.
