Look what happened to my car

So I got bored yesterday and went and painted my plastic covers in my engine bay with the help of lordm.

and here is the result:

It is high heat engine enamel paint from crappy tire.

On a sad side not some ***** hit my back bumper and left a license plate bolt mark in it. :'( ***** didn’t even have the courtesy to leave a note or anything.

hey, just wondering.. how much sanding did u have to do for the calipers?

zero sanding required. when you use engine paint you just wipe the parts down u want to paint and paint. rember calipers are cast molded, so the surface already rough. have a look at mine or jamies in person at either the west or east meets. also with this paint it drys smooth with no bubbles or runs

I thought this was gonna be another one of those threads where somethign got stolen, dented, vandalized... cuz of the title. Nice to get a good surprise.

I had my calipers red, but I wasnt' a big fan of that... if I ever gotta do mine, it'll be silver or black... but they are shiny plated now
