Installing a Spoon Lip

So i got a spoon lip that is pretty much ready to install... but it came with all these brackets to go on my EK?
anyone know how those are supposed to go onto the lip?

Normally lips are just two screws on each side and two in the middle for a secure fit.. but i don't know where these brackets are supsoed to go :|

the only think i can think about is these brackets maybe for the middle underside of the lip
most lips have the 2 screws through the middle grille ledge and others sometimes wedge stuff in btw the lip and the bottom of the bumper? any pics?

hey man i just installed a spoon lip on my EK i didnt use those brackets or the bolts they give you.
what i did is install 3 screws into the front of ur bumper as low as possible.....then make sure there all at the same height.
what these screws are for are essentially bump stops.. so i have mine backed half way out.... once u have 3 screws evenly spaced on the front of the bumper install the lip over them... and see how it sits. you may have to adjust how far there backed out....this will ditermin ur lip angle.. now go ahead and screw in the sides....
when ur done ur lip should be solid as a rock
let me know how u make out

you need the brackets underneath on the spoon lip because there is no middle section that holds the lip up. if you dont put these Z backets on then the wind could easily blow your lip down and then you would run over it.

i drilled throug hthe bottom of the lip then attached the brackets using the pre-existing bumper holes

zbrackets go wherever you want.
you just have to drill your own holes on the lip.
