HID bulb change

i have 4000k hid on my oem headlights, and i bought a pair of projector headlights, the projector uses h1 but im using h4, can i just buy an h1 hid bulb without buying another whole set? thx

yes you can buy h1 bulbs

Oh, thx. What if i want a higher temp.? I want 8000k, but right now im using 4000k

Thats still fine. Just get the bulbs you want. Ballast has nothing to do with colour
