got my CTRs finally

now my question......

for the city lights or whatever they are called..... i got the sockets but no bulbs.. (thanx password JDM) they said i would so im gonna bitch to them....

if they dont give me any..... what is the bulb that goes there??? do i have to get it from an importer or does a NA Honda carry it??

also..... do i need to do any special wiring for the city lights?? off the top of my head i dont remember seeing any extra plugs in the harness??? are they there but just concealed and unused? or will i need to totally retro them in??

my car has no DRL..... is that pretty much what that is???

no existing wiring.
depending on how u want to use ur city light ie. with your headlights off, car in park etc..... you have to tap into those wires accordingly. on a stock civic if i remember correctly they are kinda taped into the headlight wires. i cant really tell since my ctr frotn end is OEM so all the wiring is neat.

nope city lights are on jdm car headlights.
they are a tiny wedge bulb that is built into the housing that basically reflects a light off the reflectors once turned on. in japan they dont got drl so its a type of substitute.

anyone notice that the CTR headlights don't have the plastic part that covers the H4 light bulb inside the housing?

does anyone know what the function of that piece is for? is it like a heat shield or something????? i wonder if the headlight would be brighter without it.
