and looking at those pics.
Welcome to the world of ****ty hoods.
you gotta pay to play.

because its an integra you cant do much.
if you were to put your fenders in the bumper would be affected badly only thing you can do is paint the inside of the fender rim black to cover the white shining thru.
also is it the same on both sides?

cf hoods can handle the winter no problem unless u buy the cheapest pos hood you can find; doesnt have to be a $1000 hood.

1000 was a bit too sarcastic but not far off.

most hoods have cf on top and a fibreglass skeleton underneath. I am pretty sure you knew that.
and they are both joined by glue or small amount of resin so the skeleton makes the hood keep its shape.

thru out the winter, snow pile up on the hood and changes in temperature will make that small hold get released and therefore giving it a dented look and damaging the hood in other ways too.

and lets not forget most hoods within a few years turn weavy too which is expected because afterall these hoods arent pure carbon and going thru winters speeds up the process.

but i am sure you knew that.

are you calling me a noob or are you saying you are?

sry I am lost.

my recommendation is like I said paint the inside of the fender so you dont see the blue and the white from the fenders black and then you wont be bothered too much.
also you can try moving the hood a bit over to balance out the gap.
that way you will have equal space on both sides.

ya, don't use cf in the winter....why take a chance? it's the winter and snow everywhere who give a *** about what your car looks like in the winter right?

i didnt say id recommend leaving your cf hood on all winter, but if it was a must, ive heard of many people doing so with no problems.
