My EH has a 2" drop w/OEM Exterior and i'm wondering what these front lips would look like and if there would be enough clearance for speed bumps, steep gutters, etc. I'm very cautious when i drive the civic, never rubbed a curb since i bought the last set of rims 6 years ago.

i have a mugen lip on mine. i had it on for 2 years without hitting anything. i also have a 2-2.5 inch drop. its all cracked now because I drove it this winter and the snow had its way with it.

Dont get the type-r....they dont look good. I had a mugen lip on my ej1 with a 2.5" drop...no problems....just gotta watch how you drive. But if i was in ur situation i would get a spoon lip for sure.

Thanx for the response. That sucks about the cracking. Fortunately they're not too pricey.

I agree that the Type-R doesn't really give it a look.

would you consider the oem si lip? seeing that you're 2 inches dropped don't get fiberglass or abs plastic try to find one thats made of polyurethane

I'd get the mugen lip. Looks the best IMO

The Spoon lip hangs the lowest out of all, then Mugen, then Type-R. If you get any of the lips, get a polyutherane one. They last forever. They'll get scratched if your car is too low, but it'll last. If you're into the real deal stuff, not the fake stuff like some of us just mentioned, then watch the way you drive. I love Spoon, but good luck finding some locally.
