^^^ not owning a civic i wouldnt be 110% sure but im willing to wager my money on no. plugs go beyond the valve cover and are screwed directly into the head so you shouldnt have to take them out to remove the cover.

Good stuff. I read some other sources after my post and they all say the same thing.

They also mention the TQ spec on the valve cover nuts to be 7ft/lb. So it is more like hand tigthen then 1/2 turn with an open wrench or something like that?

i used dupli colour high temp on mine a year ago in "Cast Iron"...turned out great too and hasnt chipped or faded...got it at crappy tire. Im pretty sure they have flat black too, they should!

I don't know if I would bother with BBQ paint. When was the last time you saw a BBQ that wasn't peeling? Also, Engines get much hotter.

The only I would use is header paint. I think pink is nice.

tighting them to 7.2 lbf-ft......is that right? but that is for a 95
