those square notches can be found on any H4 housing headlight. how do you think H4's fit in there?

the glare shields, you can buy from HIDexpert, they call them adapters but serve the same purpose.

HIDexpert only have H4 to D2s/D2r adapters. I just want glare shields for my H4 bulbs.

Because I want as little glare as possible when I get my HID kit.
And Im not retrofitting, there has to be someone who sells H4 glare shields.

but the D2R hid kit that hidexpert sells is not a retrofit. they're the same as any other hid kit.

Don't buy it lol..just make it yourself..its not hardddd VERY EZ =D i made my own..the shield doesn't do much but it helps..from what i noticed it kinda stops glare (not 100%) but it also makes the light output more towards the ground..*from my OPINION so don't go crazy on me if you guys don't think so*

how did you make the shield yourself, did you just attached a piece of aluminum to the light bulb ?

Is it possible to modify the H4 to d2s adapters/shields and just use H4 bulb instead with the shields.
Those adapters can be bought from casper electronics.

Has anyone done that ?

I keep getting different information, the only way I could see them not working is if they were alot longer than H4 bulbs.

Does anyone have a diagram/picture of all different HID bulbs ?

have you considered getting a set of aftermarket projector headlamps for your civic and then putting an HID kit in it? TYC ones are decent and i believe they take an H1 or H3 size bulb.

it would be even better to retrofit OEM projectors into the aftermarket housing. aftermarket projectors suck.
