from chrome to black head lights... HOW THE HECK??

lol... i was wondering if anyone has every painted there chrome angeleyes to black..... i was just wondering if anyone out there has and if they have pics and tips they can send over my way.... im considering doing this just because the chrome is really bothering me right now... my intire car is black/red except for those damn lights...

anyways let me know what you know.. lol

i think chrome rims on a civic look like ****.....sorry to all those with chrome rims but thats my personal opinion.... plus im not going for that look.. im going for the dark stealthy look...

lol.... i guess thats an option... but i do have the angle eyes.. and i think they look great... its ither i paint them black...or sell them along with my amber corners and get a set of tyc 1pc in black.... but id rather not go through the trouble of selling and buying... plus i like the halos... and the tyc ones i like don't...... so im thinking im gonna go for it

its just like any other blackout project. crack them open and start pulling **** apart.

take off the lenses and start painting. use a good paint so the finish doesnt look crappy.i wonder what kind of paint would be best on the shiny finish?

^ yeah thats a good question actualy... and its gonna be a bit harder since its got the halos in there.... don't know if i want to start taking them out cause i might break them...

tint spray??? interesteing... but not for the front.. i think i might consider tinting the backs just a bit.....

as for the fronts .. after i installed the amber corners i actualy didn't mind the chrome... i think it was just that with the clear corners i had on it was just way too much chrome in the front..... but now its taken it down and i don't mind so much... also with the rims i have now it kinda flows well... but thanx all for the info...

where can i get this tint spray??? does ct have it??
