Body Work - Multiple Choice

I have a gouge that's isolated to my driver's side door, along with denting. It's pretty bad. What's my best option, noting that I'm financially strapped:

- Insurance claim?
- Looking for a scrap yard match (do I have to buy the whole door?)
- Try one of the recommended body shops in the searches?
- (Ghetto option 1) Get the shop to pull out the dents and putty fill myself
- (Ghetto option 2) Duct Tape "cover-up"

1998 Civic 4 door

A 1998 car does not deserve any of the other options, and a new door is over $500. A shop will fix that for $300 for a great job. Do not use insurance - (deductable???)
